GARY SHAMP – OWNER

              Gary has been building quality homes and is licensed in both North and South Carolina for almost three decades. He began his home building career as a laborer (while in high school) and on weekends and summer holidays for a major home builder. 

After graduating from Western Carolina University, he continued to grow his career from sales, to warranty

 management to estimating then to Vice President of production.

He was then appointed to the position of President for this same builder, a position he held for several years. However, his dream was and is to own his own building company. That is how GARVER HOMES came to life in 2005. Gary is one of those rare people who think of home building as a way to create something that can bring people happiness and security. He oversees all construction personally, tending to the details that make building your custom home an enjoyable experience.

In 2009, the company expanded to include renovations and additions, as well as, new construction, making GARVER HOMES your total home building solution. He is able to conquer any project large or small, with a team of subcontractors, some of which have worked with Gary for over 20 years. He will always pay close personal attention to each customer through the remodel process assuring the quality of the work and his company’s excellent work ethics, which is rare to this trade
